Abdulai Alhassan was the former Regional Football Association Chairman for the Northern Region and also a very close associate to the President of Ghana Football Association Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Tiger Eye approached this young man with a sponsorship proposal for the Ghana Premier League and he led the delegation to see his boss.
After the Anas Exposé and how he conducted himself we can say he's no different from his boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.
In his earlier speech he started by saying he's played in Holland and Belgium thus spending 9 years in Europe and also the RFA Chairman for the Northern Region making him the youngest member of GFA executive committee.
After Kwesi Nyantakyi's bragging which he asked for $12m to be distributed to The President of Ghana, his vice, Roads Minister and he with his "boy" Abdulai. This RFA Chairman got furious and insisted the $12m was very small and they should charge $14m or $15m.
He said in the video that the GFA President has worked so hard for this contract and sharing $1m with him was too small, he deserved more than that.
These are the people leading Ghana football, a very young guy who has fast forward through the ranks just wants to take any opportunity to enrich himself rather than helping the game to reach a better status.
Meanwhile Abdulai Alhassan has resigned his position as chairman of the Northern Regional FA. The decision comes days after the expose’ of rot in the Football circles the country by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, which led to the resignation of the embattled boss of the FA Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi .
This was made known at a press briefing in Tamale at the Secretariat of the Northern Regional Football Association.
“I Abdulai Alhassan after careful reflection on my role and action in the recent Anas Aremeyaw Anas Expose, i have decided to resign as the Chairman of the Northern Regional Football Association”.
According to Abdulai Alhassan, his interest was to develop Ghana Football which led him to take the supposed investors to the President of the Ghana Football Association. He apologised to his family, friends, the people whom he was elected to serve and the country at large.
The question is, If indeed is in the interest to develop Ghana football why was he so furious sharing 1 million dollars with his boss and saw it as a small money. The only work you did was taking investors to see the FA president and in return you get dollars for your troubles. But no way you want more, THAT'S GREED my brother
