The Magical Mason's - 2019-2020 Season

The 2019 -2020 premier League season saw many young talents displaying what they do best. The notable ones are Chelsea's wonder kid Mason Mount and Manchester United's Mason Greenwood.

Chelsea looked to have a horrible season after the club was banned from making transfer and their most prolific player Eden Hazard also joining Real Madrid, Frank Lampard decided to stick with youngsters to do the damage for the blues.

Lampard had originally managed Mount at Derby County in the championship where Mount was playing on loan from Chelsea, but missed out on premier League promotion after losing 1-2 to Aston Villa in the playoffs finals.

With European games yet to be played, Mount has managed 8 goals with 5 assists for Chelsea. A youngster with his debut Premier League campaign is very impressive and is as well one of the top performers for his club.

Mason Greenwood on the other hand has had an excellent season with United after the exit of Romero Lukaku. United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had faith in his youngster and decided to give him the task to replace the Belgian striker who left United for Inter Milan before the season kick start.

Greenwood made his competitive debut on March 6th, 2019 as a substitute against Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League, he later made his Premier League debut from the bench in a 2–0 defeat to Arsenal to become one of the club's youngest league debutants.

The 18 year old has scored 18 goals with 2 assist in all competitions this season, with some European football still in the bag.

Mount and Greenwood has been instrumental for their clubs who ultimately secured a champions League spots next season.
