There is a saying that "What's good for the goose is good for the gander". What is good for a man is equally good for a woman;
Black Stars team B won the WAFU cup and was honored with $100,000 by the government. Over the weekend the senior national Women's team Black Queens also achieved same feet by beating Ivory coast 2-1 to the trophy.
The question is, What will the country do for our Queens? What was done for the Black stars should be replicated for the Queens.
Let us show gratitude when it's due, Same tournament, same trophy

Lingard header takes Man United to 2nd place
Manchester United moved back into second place in the Premier League as substitute Jesse Lingard gave them victory over top-four rivals Chelsea at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils had to come from behind after Willian started and finished a flowing move to give Chelsea the lead in the first half.
United pulled level before the break, with striker Romelu Lukaku getting in front of Marcos Alonso inside the area to score against his former club for the first time.
Lukaku then set up Lingard to head home with 15 minutes left, after which Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata had a goal disallowed for offside.
Defeat leaves the Blues in fifth place after Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 1-0 earlier on Sunday.
A run of just one win in their past four league matches, coupled with Spurs’ 10-game unbeaten streak, means they are out of the Champions League places with 10 games remaining.
Chelsea came close to taking the lead at Old Trafford after just four minutes when Morata ran on to Alonso’s brilliant volleyed cross, but his shot hit the bar.
Lukaku, facing the club he played for between 2011 and 2014, had a flying volley superbly saved by Thibaut Courtois.
Lukaku came into the game having scored 12 goals in the Premier League so far this season, but with none – and only four shots on target – against the other teams in the top six.
The Belgian, signed for £75m from Everton last July, had never scored in either seven previous league appearances against Chelsea, or 10 for the Blues during a spell in which he enjoyed more success while on loan at West Brom and Everton.
But the 24-year-old edged in front of Alonso to finish off a neat move involving Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial and end his dry spell against the top flight’s elite.
Lukaku came close to a second when he met Sanchez’s superb ball with a flying left-footed volley, but Courtois denied his international team-mate by tipping the ball over.
He swung the match decisively in United’s favour, though, when he slipped free on the right of the box and chipped in a cross that Lingard nodded home.

Ghanaian's Don't Understand the word Celebrity - Fiduro Klodin CEO
According to Mr Gideon Kofi Gyimah "A celebrity is someone whose life is worth celebrating and emulating". But in Ghana, any popular person at all is seen as a celebrity.
"Celebrity status has now been cheapened here in Ghana, why should the likes of Efia Odo and Efia Schwarzenegger, Shatta Wale and several others who thinks going naked on social media is the only thing they can do to survive"
"Why should people call themselves celebrity's when their lifestyle is not worth emulating, as a celebrity you need to live a life worth celebrating and having a positive impact on the society, be a role model to the young ones, he added.
"Let's not confuse Stardom with Celebrity, an artiste will just release one hit song and all of a sudden he/she is a celebrity, that's not right, these guys week hit the stage and make a mess of themselves because they have only one hit song, if these guys are celebrity's then what will we call Amakye Dede, Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Sarkodie and the likes?
Some people will also be making noise all over social media, going nude day-in-and-out and the next day you see people referring to them as celebrity's, he told dawuroafrica
Let's not joke as a country, let's not be bemused with mediocrity, Let's give the right people the needed recognition.
Black Queens win WAFU Women Zone B Tournament
Ghana's Black Queens are the new champions of the WAFU Zone B tournament after pipping hosts, Cote d'Ivoire 1-0 in the final played at the Robert Champroux Stadium in Abidjan on Saturday.
A second minute strike from defender Janet Egyir was enough to win the trophy of this maiden competition for the Queens.
The final, a replay of the opening Group A game, was a keenly contested game with the Ivorians playing a more physical game and the Ghanaians counteracting with their free flowing game.
However, before the two sides could settle down in the game, Ghana took the lead, Egyir surging forward to finish off a rebound from a freekick.
As it turned out, it would be the only goal and the winning one as well.
For her effort, the resilient and hardworking Egyir was adjudged the Best Player of competition.
Queens' captain, Portia Boakye won the Topscorer prize, having scored four and set up three others in Ghana's 15 goals scored in regular time.
Nigeria's Super Falcons earlier on Saturday claimed the third place after coming from behind to beat Mali 2-1.

Ghanaian Midfielder Ebenezer Ofori Joins New York City FC on Loan
Stuttgart midfielder Ebenezer Ofori has joined New York City FC on loan until the end of the year.
The MLS club will have an option to buythe 22-year-old holding midfielder permanently at the end of the 2018 season.
"I'm really excited to bring in Ebenezer -- he's a young player who is looking to improve, he is really dynamic and can cover ground," NYCFC coach Patric Vieira said.
"He's really aggressive but he's good with the ball too. I'm really pleased that we managed to bring him to the football club.
"He's a competitor, he's a guy who likes to win, he's a strong character. He's coming to this club to compete with the midfielders we have and, like I always say, that will bring the best out of all of the players we have at this football club."
Ofori only won nine minutes in the Bundesliga for Stuttgart this term, having joined the club from AIK Solna in January 2017 for a reported fee of 1.5 million.
This term, the Ghana international appeared in two games, the first-round DFB Pokal win at lower-division Energie Cottbus, and a further nine minutes in a defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt in late September.
"He's an exemplary professional with an immaculate attitude," Stuttgart sporting executive Michael Reschke was quoted on the club's social media channels.
"But in the end, he failed to win a place on the team against the big competition. In such cases, it's better for everyone involved to look for a new club where the player has better chances to win minutes."

Another Popular Musician will Die very soon - Prophet Nigel Gaisie
The Founder and leader of the True Fire Prophetic Ministry (TFPWM), Prophet Nigel Gaisie, who claims to have predicted the tragic death of Ebony Reigns, is out with another prophecy again.
This time around, he is claiming that another musician will die before the end of the first quarter of the year.
Failing to mention a specific name, he only stated that the musician in question was very popular.
"The Lord told me that a musician will die soon before the fall of this year's quarter. That musician is extremely popular. However, I will not mention the name," he is quoted by Accra-based Hitz FM as saying.
If our calculations are correct, then it means the prediction should come to pass latest by the end of March.
Prophet Gaisie has become quite popular when a video surfaced after the death of Ebony and two other people, Franky Kuri and Francis Atsu Vondee in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway on February 8, suggested he foresaw the singer's fate.

He followed up his 'prediction' with another claim that two people conspired to kill Ebony.
Prophet Gaisie's 'prophecies' have, however, irked the family of Ebony, especially her father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, who has hinted of a possible suit against him.
But he seems unperturbed as he has vowed "continue to make prophecies because that's my assignment for this generation."
Apart from his prophecies of deaths, he is also known to have predicted that former President John Mahama will return to power in 2020 if the NDC selects him as their presidential candidate

I Can't Believe Daddy Lumba sued me - DL Junior
Considering that he has paraded himself as DL Junior since 1997, Emmanuel Baffoe Anokye says he is in shock that Daddy Lumba has dragged him to court restraining him from having anything to do with the Lumba brand. Daddy Lumba has filed a lawsuit at the Accra High Court alleging that Emmanuel claims to be his son and impersonates him to get gifts from people.
When Showbiz contacted him last Tuesday, DL Junior said he couldn’t believe what was happening.
“I really don’t understand what is happening and I can’t believe that Daddy can do this to me because we have a very good relationship.
“When I got the summons, I went to GHAMRO to see the officials to see the way forward and they told me to take it easy and that they will talk to him, so I kept my fingers crossed and left,” he said.
For now, DL Junior says he has employed the services of a lawyer so he will act on his lawyer’s instructions.
According to him, although he is besides himself with shock at the suit, because he and Daddy Lumba get along very well, he has nothing against the ace musician.
“I don’t have anything against him, I still love him. What hurts me are the charges he levelled against me, I thought he could have called me and talked with me like a son instead of heading to court,” he said.
He added that he has been using the name DL Junior for a very long time and has even performed with the legend on several occasions.
“He never told me he didn’t like what I am doing but rather he encouraged me to go on and that in good time, he will show me to the world,” he claimed.
According to entertainmentgh.com, Daddy Lumba alleges that Emmanuel Anokye has a history of impersonating him since he took part in a TV Africa-produced reality show, Just Like You which aired in 2010.
The talent show gave upcoming artistes an opportunity to mimic their favourite celebrities. DL Junior imitated Daddy Lumba.
